The young volunteer left on
Sept. 25 to begui his three year
enlistment. Ho will receive his
recruit training at Marine Corps
Rcci-uit Depot, Pnrris Island, S.C.
Following the eight weeks at
Parrls Island, he is scheduled for
additional training at Camp Le
Joune, N.C.
Prior to enlisting he attended
Freeport High School. Tommy is
expected homo on his first leave
in about twelve weeks.
