Isaac Stern, eunrenlly on his 25th const-to-coaal tour of Ih,
United States, will play at Freeport High School on Snturdny, Dee.
3, at 8:30 p.m., it was announced by Mrs. Anne Morlin, Prcsidont

violinist, who is under the manoRcmcnl o£ S. Hurol«, is appearing
in some 40 cities In tba United
States and Canodn between October
and March.
Mr. Stem's fomo extends not
only throughout his own country
but through the entire world. He
has performed countless limes In
Europe, Latin America and femel,
appeared in AustrnUs, India,
Japan and the Philippines, and

Thousands and thousands of men, women and children, from
cM over Nassau County, lined the streets of Freeport last Saturday
inornjng to see the gala and colorful 19fl(} "Freqsort Christmas
Toyland Parade." ..
This year's parade was stream-lined, all-new and, sensational.
It included nearly 40 displays, exhibits;
floats and marching ^its.

Willie Walker, John Anselmo and Alan FLichci; were cliosen^
at the High School Coaches' Conference for the All Division Team.
Walker, known as the "Galloping Goliath," was chosen as offensive
full back. Me made many outstanding rune and was one of
the mainstays of this years team. He was also,chosen on the All

Fischer, Red Devil tackle, played
a maior role on the Iron man
line of Freeport His tremendous
offensive line play wrought
havoc on the opposition as he
opened the holes for teammates
to run through. Al, when hearing
of his All Division designation
just wouldn't believe It. In addition
tfl his prowess on the football
field, he is also a staff sports
reporter for the Long Island
Eemel. .
Anselmo proved himself this
year, Tis tremendous soiTensive
and defensive ability earned him
the. appelallon of a great quarterback.
Ho was chosen Alt Division
defensive back, but -if m,uiit
have been a toss up whether to
name him that or offensive back.
He is also n Bfd Oevil baseball
player of great esteem.
AU three boys are seniors and
will be graduated this June, Many
Universitica are biding for them
and we are sure that whlcha^^r
school they choose, they infill.

they are not only star athletes,
