Mayor Robert J. Sweeney and Fire Chief Pat Cotlgjiola led the
list of dignitaries who paid tribute to this popular Freeportcr.. In
addition to" the hundreds ol friends and fellow firemen present, the
-attendance also included representatives from many neighboring
departments since John Marra has been active in many firemanic
activities. He-has headed the annual FFD Fourth of July Fireworks
«a«d Flremanics Sliow since it first started 8 years ago.
. Former Chief Joe Manz served as Toastmaster at the dinner and
Ex-Chief Don Mausberger was General Chairman of. the affair.
Dance music was provided by Vito TaruUi and bis orchestra.
