JACK LUGRIN MEMORIAL
FUND TO BENEFIT FROM
BALL GAME ON AUG 24
A baseball gome for the benefit of tho Jack Lugrin Memo.inl
Fund will be played at Freeport Municipal Stadium on Wednesday
evening, August 28, starting at 8 p.ni. (Eainout date Is Sept. 2.)
The purpose of this game is to raise funds to sponsor a team
in Freeport Little League in 1965 In memory of young Jack Lugi-in,
who was an outstanding member
and player in the Major and Senior
Divisions during the past 3
years. He was killed in an automobile
accident several weeks
ago.
Many of his friends feel that a
team in his memory would be.an
appropriate tiibute and therefore
the Committee has arranged this
game. .
A number of people have already
made donations to this
fund and anyone who cannot attend
this game and wishes to
make a contribuliOT, can make St
payable to Freeport Little League
and send, it to the League Treasurer,
