President. At the same meettag. Mr. Herbert F, Baehr was elected Vice-
President, and Mr. Howard B. Rnsmussen was appointed to flU UM
Trusteeship vacated by Mr. Eoy Ctockley «n June 30, ,
Mr. Hugh Erwln in retiring from the Prcsldenoy nominated Mr.
Smith as Ms successor, This action waa^ln keeptog with the spirit of a

of the New York State School Boards Association In 1948. In 1933, Mr.
