EASTER And PASSOVER
TWO GREAT HOLIDAYS
Christians all over the world, fnmi Ihc East to the
West, are looking forward to another glarious Easier
Sunday'.
Likewiise, men, women ond childri'u of the Jewish faith
aniun fire preparing lo observe their eentury-«ld Peasl of
the Passover.
Two great religious peoples of the world—two great
worldly holidays.
Yet, actually all a r e one.
The people a r e the same whether they arc in Finland
or on Fifth Avenue. Regardless of lire niefliod of worship,
iio one can denj' that there is but one (lotl.
Too often in these chaotic limes . . in fael, ever since
maii first followed a form of worship, people forget the
fact that basically we a r e all one. They forget that there
i s only one God regardless what House of \V<ii-ship wc
attend*
Tliey fpi^gel that (iod would not forgive anyone who
kills, Ijajures or causes paiti under any religious banner.
Yet, through tlie past centuries, some of the greatest
crimes have been conunitted on the basis of self-styled and
.self-declared religious issues.
Have^i'twie been fools?
Wouldn't Life beiuucJi sweeter if we all looked at one
another as equals?
W'oiildtft we be h i t l e r men of God if we respected each
others fonii of,wpi-ship?
l i e t ' s start afresh. This j e a r , since Easter and Passover
eoine a t the same time, let's all s h a r e these Holidays in the
true spirit of friendship and brotherhood.
