On September 30 the Bethpage Fire Department responded to an overturned trac-tor
trailer on the southbound Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway Route 135 exit ramp
to eastboand Hempstead Tpke. The driver was ejected out of the windshield and
transported to NUMC by a Bellmore Fire Department ambulance that was leaving St
Joseph's Hospital at the time of the accident. Bethpage fire fighters secured a large
fuel leak and applied speedy dry to the exit ramp that was closed for several hours.

RETURN TO BETHPAGE ON
OCTOBER 24
The Bethpage Fall Fair is returning to our town on
October 24th compliments of the Bethpage Fire
Department Engine Company 7.
The Bethpage Federal Credit Union will once again
be the be premier sponsor. FREE pony rides and pet-ting
zoo will be provided by them. Live music will be
playing all day.
The Bethpage Fire Department is hoping to have
over 100 vendors for your shopping pleasure. There
will also be rides for the kiddies and fun for all! A
great day out for the whole community.
Sparky from the N Y Islanders will be making his
debut at the Fair and the N ew York Islanders ICE Tour
will be stopping by as well.
So, come out for a great day of fun, food and early
holiday shopping. If you are interested in a vendor
spot, there is still time to register. Please go to
Bethpagefair.com, as all the festival forms can be
found on that site. Hope to see everyone at the Fair!
