STORM PACKS A POWERFUL PUNCH IN BETHPAGH
On June 24 the BFD responded to multiple alarms for trees and wires down after a fast moving storm came through the area. A home on Jupiter Lane sustained
heavy structural damage after a huge tree crashed through it. A second home was also damaged. Bethpage fire fighters assisted the homeowners retrieve person-al

Our Bethpage Fire Department was busy all evening after a fast paced
and strong strom ripped through Bethpage. This downed tree completedly
blocked off Evergreen Ave.
On Thursday, June 24 at approximately 3pm a powerfiil rain storm
ripped through Bethpage leaving behind a huge mess for many homeown-ers.
Downed trees, power lines and branches left some without electricity
while others sustained more severe damage. This fast moving storm lasted
only a few moments but many communities in Nassau and Suffolk
Counties were hit with its pretty powerful punch and forced to deal with
damages homes and streets littered with debris.

Talk about a lucky break. This huge tree seemed to have stopped just short of this
home on First Street in Bethpage.
This SUV on Pershing took the impact of large branches which littered many
streets in Bethpage after this powerful storm tore through our area.
