Dear Bethpagc Trihiau',
O?! Tuesday, May 22, 1990 our 13 month old
daughter started having convulsions and one of
the reasons she is here with us today is because
of the tremendous job done by our Fire Department,
We in Bethpage are truly fortunate to have
-volunteers who are dedicated, knowledgeable and
caring. The volunteers arrived within a few minutes
of our call and they immediately took the necessary
steps to insure our baby's safety.
We would like to thank Commissioner DeBobes
and Chief Brian Durr and all the volunteers who
helped us that night, we will be forever^fateful
to the volunteers who make Bethpage a safe place
in v}hich to live.
Sincerly,
Len and Donna Kunzig

be aware of the who., what, where,
when and why of our actions at lown
Hall. The media provides a timely
forum for us to communicate these
facts directly to constituents."
Last week. Supervisor Delligatti s
constituency expanded considerably
when he taped an interview headed
for radio broadcast In the Soviet
Union.
As the Supervisor tells it, "The New
York Times did an article last month
on the employment retraining and
placement program that Oyster Bay
is coordinating for laid-off Chumman
employees. This was followed a few
weeks later by a WCl^S-l.V. report
on the program."
The program has been an cxtrcmelv
successful one. added the Supervisor.
so the media attention did not surprise
Town officials. Journalist Vladimii
.Moro/ov's interest in the program,
however, and his request, as a senior
