Gulotta Names New Deputy County Executive
Nassau County Executive Ihomas S.
CJulotta today announced the appointment
ol Santa C. Ro/.zi ol Oyster Bay.
as Deputy County Executive, the lirst
woman Deputy County Executive to be
appointed in Nassau County.
"I am truly delighted to have Santa
join our senior stall," Gulotta said.
"Santa has amassed an enviable record
ol extensive municipal experience since
she commenced employment with the
Town ol Oyster Bay in 1972. Her
knowledge and experience in the legal
and real estate areas will be particularly
helptui to the County and our residents
in the months and years ahead."
Ro/7i IS presently the Bureau Chiet ol
the Nassau County Bureau ol Real Estate,
Insurance and Workmen's Compensation.
Most recently, her department
coordinated the selection ol a risk
management lirm lor the Nassau
County Medical Center. In her new
position she will oversee and provide
liaison to the Department ol Public
Works. General Services, County
I reasurer, Nassau County Planning
Commission and the oil ice ol Women's
Services.
Previously, she served as Deputy
County Ireasurcr. Deputy County
Attorney and Inspector in the Comptroller's
oltice. Betore that, she served in
the Ollice of the I own Attorney in the
lown ol Ovster Bay.
