Police Promotions
In a long awaited ceremony held at Nassau
County Police Headquarters Police
Commissioner Samuel J. Rozzi made 14
promotions from the rank of Sergeant to
Lieutenant. These are the first promotions to this
rank since June of 1977. Also promoted were five
Lieutenants to the rank of Captain. It has been
two years since promotions were made to this
post.
