Santa Clous Pays
A Special Visit
Lori Aragona, who lives in Bethpage, had a few special words for Santa
Claus when he visited the Nassau Association For The Help Of Retarded
Children's school which Lori attends in Brookville. Santa's stop at AHRC
was made possible by the Glen Cove Lions as part of their annual holiday
party for the children.
James Connors
Youth Of the Month
James Connors, a senior at Island Trees High School, was recently
honored by the Levittown Exchange Club as Youth of the Month. James
ranks Number Nine in his class and has aspiration in the area of
mathematics and computer science. Activities in school include: The
National Honor Society, Advanced Placement Classes, Track,
Gymnastics, Swimming, School Band and the Jazz Workshop.
Pictured with Jim are Mr. Briskie, Guidance Counselor, Mrs. Connors
and Mr. Richard Segardahl, Chairman of the Youth of the Month
Program.
Residents Urged
To Get Flu Vaccination
Free flu inoculation is vital winter protection for Angelina D'Amico of
Bethpage. Mrs. D'Amico is one of approximately 250 Bethpage area
residents participating in the county-wide inoculation program for
elderly and high risk individuals being co-sponsored by Nassau County
Department of Senior Citizen Affairs and Nassau County American Red
Cross with vaccine provided by Nassau County Department of Health.
