For Bethpage, A New Rabbi... And Baby
Just about seven-weeks ago,
Bethpage's Jewish Community
welcomed a new rabbi for the center,
Bruce Ginsburg, his wife, and a brand
new baby girl, Dyonna.
Rabbi Ginsburg is a graduate of
Jewish Theological Seminary, where he
was ordained. Bruce and his wife,
Rachel, lived in Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania before taking oh the
Bethpage assignment.
The Community Center set a busy
schedule for meeting Rabbi and Mrs.
Ginsburg this weekend. On Friday,
services were held followed by an Oneg
Shabbat. On Saturday a Kiddusn
followed morning services, and on*
Sunday the Center held an open house
for community residents to meet the
Ginsburgs. Young Dyonna made an
unscheduled appearance (far right).
The Open House was sponsored by
members of; Sisterhood, Men's Club,
Young Couples Club and Youth Group.
Pictured above, are, Irwin Hausman,
Rabbi Bruce Ginsburg, Harriet Montag
and Leonard Nager, listening to Rabbi
Bruce explain his interest in the biblical
history of the towns in the immediate
area i.e. Jericho, Bethpage, and
Jerusalem (now Wantagh).
The Bethpage Jewish Community
