This Bethpage Community Park audience is feeling pretty nostalgic as Don Michaels Big Band plays
"Getting Sentimental Over You," just one of many top hits of the *40's on the "Great Swinging
Sounds" concert program. The performance, Thursday, August 9th, was co-sponsored by The
Seamen's Bank for Savings. It was the last in a free summer series presented by the Town of Oyster
Bay's Department of Community Services Cultural and Performing Arts Division, and made
possible by public funds from the New York Council on the Arts.
