Vol. 3 No. 43 Thursday, August 14, 1969 10* per copy
Wilbur F. Breslin, President of
Breslin Realty, Inc., West
Hempstead and East Meadow,
New York, announced that his
firm negotiated the sale of a 42

on the north side of Hempstead

Avenue in Levittown.
To be constructed on the site is
a 900,000 sq. ft. regional shopping
center offering Long Island's
first multi-level enclosed mall.
The 20 million dollar complex will
offer 2 major department stores
totaling approximately 400,000
sq. ft and about 500,000 of
satellites. There will be all-weather
double level parking
fayfutywt accommodating 5,000 -
cars and an internal mini-bus
service to carry shoppers from
their car to mall entrances.
Breslin reported that his firm
had originally been instrumental
in creating a prior sale of the
same parcel for the original fee
owner, Miller Associates, to
Supermarket General Corporation,
formerly known as
Shop-Rite and now known as
Pathmark Stores. The Breslin
firm proceeded to resell the
parcel for the second time for
Supermarket General Corporation
to F. L. M. R. Inc. of
Great Neck, an affiliate of the
Feldman Bros.

transaction involving a leaseback
of a 60,000 sq. ft. supermarket
to Pathmark, who
presently occupies a 40,000 sq. ft.
store in the middle of the 42 acre
site.The existing store will be
demolished to make way for the
regional center and the
relocation of Pathmark will take
place without a loss of even one
business day for the well known
grocery chain.
The Breslin firm is also handling
the negotiations with the 2
major department stores involved,
on behalf of the Feldman
organization, and will continue to
act as consultant to the project.
