At St John'a Epiaeopal Church, Jer¬ sey City, Wednesday night, at 8 o'clock. Miss Alice Cordelia Double- day, daughter of Mrs. William C. Doubleday of Jersey City, and Walter C. Rhodes, of the Freeport Bank, were united in marriage by Rev. E. L. Stod¬ dard, rector emeritus of the church, in the presence of a large assemblage of relatives and friends.
The ushers were Walter Cozzena, Harry J. Betzig, Percy 6. Whitman and Charles E. Terry. Clifford CoylOr Was the best man. The bride waa at¬ tended by Misses Florence Buchanan, aa maid of honor, and Blanche Rhodes, Anna Cadmus and Sarah Austin, of Passaic. There were about 200 at the wedding supper served at the bride V\ home, 9 Belmont avenue, Jersey City. The bride presented her attendants with pearl pertdants: and the groom likewise his with stickpinj.

The bride's gown waa white aaiin trimmed with pearls and real lace, and a white tulle veil and she caried a bouquet of white roses and lillies of the valley. The maid of honor wore pink satin, embroidered, and carried pink roses; bridesmaids, pink satin trimmed with yellow Marquisette; carried bouquets of yellow chrysanttiic- mums. The church was prettily decor¬ ated with palma, ferns and yellow chrysanthemums, aa waa also the resi¬ dence.
