At the regnlar weekly meeting of the Board of Superviaocra held Taea¬ day morning a reaolution waa paaaed reacinding and repealing reaolutiona paaaed on Aagaat 26, providing for the cost of eonstrQcting new roads and the re-sarfacing and improving of old roads. It was thia work that the 1666,000 bond laauo was advertised for. Supervisors Christ and Craft voted in favor of rescinding and Super¬ visor Cocks against.
Sheriff DeMoit reported tbat there were 48 prisoners in the jail for week ending December Sl.
A commanication was received from W. B. Clark, anperintendent of the N. Y. It L. I. Traction Co., aaking permiaaion to move aome poiea and re¬ queating aeveral gradea. Tbe matter was relerred to Supervisor Craft, aa was the communication of Henry J.
