LU - HI - NEST BALL
The Lu-Hi Nest Ball, the Sec-ond
Annual dance presented by
the Council of Faiths, will be
held TOMORROW evening, April
2, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the
Knights of Columbus Hall, on
Grand Avenue in Baldwin. At
the dance, which is semi-formal,
there will be door prizes for the
lucky ticket holders. Tickets
will cost you only $2.50 per
couple. They are on sale daily
in the Tech Building at noon,
and in Knapp Hall at noon and
in the evening.
In case you are wondering
about the name Lu-Hi-Nest, this
will clear up the confusion. The
name is derived by taking the
first two letters of each of the
religious clubs on campus —
Lutheran, Hillel, Newman, and
Student Christian. Thus, the
name Lu-Hi-Nest.
Now that you know where the
name came from, why not come
— to the Lu-Hi-Nest Ball, that
is. Don't forget, April 2,
TOMORROW, from 9 to 1 at the
K of C Hall in Baldwin. And,
best of all, the tickets are only
$2.50 a couple. See you there!

its First Annual Tea and Fashion Show, the proceeds of
which will go to the Student Union Building Fund.

Adamo, Council
President-Elect
The new freshman officers are
now running our student govern-ment.
Monday, March 14 was
the election- day, and these are
the results of the Student Council
3lections: President, Tony
\damo, TAA; Vice Presidene,
Chris Christie, MT; Recording
Secretary, Jeannette Duggan,
TSA; Corresponding secretary,
Terri Mastro, TSA; Treasurer,
Phil Weydener, TAA.
This past Monday, the new
officers conducted their first

order of business and committee
reports, Tony Adamo did a tre-mendous
job of chairing. We
are confident that Student Coun-cil
is in good hands for the com-

Sunny Day invites spring fashion
The Tea and Fashion Show,
being sponsored by Student
Council, will be held in Knapp
Hall, beginning at 2:00 p.m. For
a small donation of $1.00, you

and Fashion Show. Boring this
will definitely not be.

the fashions from Marion
Clarke, Inc. of Babylon. The

of course). The models
to wear the exquisite fashions by
Marion Clarke will be chosen,
not on previous modeling experi-ence,
but from names submitted
to any Council member or the
RAMBLER.
As an extra for the spectators,
door prizes will be awarded.
Who knows — you may be the
lucky winner of one of the many
prizes, one of which is a mink
collar.
You will want to participate in
the April 9, First Annual Tea

not in the capacity of a model.
