Cutting "Footloose"
By: Susan Carl
A multitude of college
students scattered
Richard Rogers Theater
for the somewhat popu-lar
musical. Footloose
on October 28th. From
the balcony seats, the
performance proved to
be an entertaining story-line
along with the
fancy footwork and
exhilarating tunes.
From the streets of
Chicago, Ren
McCormack, played by
Michael Selbach came to
a small town where danc-ing
was outlawed.
Throughout the play, Ren
McCormack tries to per-suade
the town and espe-cially
the minister's
daughter. Ariel Moore
(Teresa Marie Sanchez)
to cut footloose
The trip was coordinat-ed
Professors Christine and
Paul Lovizio for an out of
class experience. The night
on the town certainly
showed the students the
pleasures of seeing a
Broadway show. In the
city lights, students delight-ed
themselves with dinner
and gaiety before they went
off to the show. The play
along with the setting of
the city was a lively educa-tional
adventure

technical informantion. The ability to
promote understanding in particular

in todays world He concluded that
there was a need for these indaviduals
and that they were rare These people
bridge the gap between the specialist
