OPEN LETTER TO ALL STUDENTS
Due to a recent law passed by the State Senate in Albany,
each S.U.N.Y. campus is now allowed to have one non^voting
student member on the Campus College Council.
This Council is basically the Board of Directors at
Farmingdale and acquiring a position is a milestone.
The student governing bodies ~ Student Government
Association and Evening College Student Association -- have
discussed and agreed that a day student should run for this
The two groups further agreed that the only people who
should run for this position should be either the day or evening
student association Presidents. This is to insure that the person
sitting on the Council has a good overall perspective of student
wants and needs here at Farmingdale.
As maintained by State Guidelines, it must be a campus-wide
NO W THA T WE HA VE THE POSITION, LET'S
