Carolers To Take Over
Down Town Farmingdale
Christmas caroling will fill the air in downtown Farmingdale,
beginning this Monday when various local groups will gather
at the corner of Main and Conklin Streets to perform.
The caroling is sponsored by the Farmingdale Kiwanis Club,
and will begin this Monday, December ' 20 at 4 p. m. when a
Brownie Girl Scout troop will offer their renditions.
At 6: 30 p. m. on Monday, members of Rotary, Kiwanis and
Lions Clubs will join together in group singing. They will be
followed at 8 p. m. by the St. Luke's Lutheran Church Choir.
On Tuesday of next week, Girl Scout troops from this area
will take over the singing of carols for the entire day.
On Wednesday, a group from the Farmingdale Methodist
Church will perform followed by the Farmingdale Hawks
Cheerleaders group who will make an appearance at 7: 30 p. m.
On Thursday, December 23, the Jesse Merritt Chapter of De
Molay Constellation and Triangle will sing out.
Other groups who would like to participate may do so by
calling Lewis Minn at MYrtle 4- 0398.
