many individuals and groups In the
village.
Preeport is the sbctih village to
adopt the 12 platoon system. The
ortfcer villages are Poitt Washington,
Ixxng Beach, Glen Cove, Hemp^tead
and Malverne.

a statement by Augustus D. Weller, president of the Meadow
Brook National Bank, promising "the- fullest possible support

largest bank on Ixxng Island,
which has its largest branch in

Annual Meeting May 6
To Introduce New Secretary
. Donald G. McLaren, the new executive secretary of the
Freeport Chamber of Commerce, will be formally introduced
o the members of the organization at an open meeting at Guy
jombardo's East Point House,, Tuesday night. Members of
Freeport *s official family,_civic leaders and representatives of
;he press andradio will be invited guests at the meeting, ftecent-
3- elected offkters of the Chamber also wall be installed.

8 cents over tihe 1951-62 rate.
