An across-the-board salary in-crease
of $250 a year each was voted
all municipal employees to meet
the Increased coat of living by .the
Village -Board at It meeting Mon-day
night: The Increases are to take
aMect on Dec. 31, and the addition-al
cost Involved will be financed
from the reserve and contingency
fund during the balance of the fis-cal
year ending Feb. 28 so as to
keep with the budgetary limitations
for the year.
The Board voted to go along with
the county as far ^ as the police
are concerned. J% the Board of
Supervisors carries out a plan to
extend the salary range of the, Po-lice
Department. beyond the present
limitations by adding two. addition-al
. annual Increasemehts of $160
each Tor all members of the force,
the village will follow its example.
