The Board of Education reorganized for the year Tuesday evening. There were present Walter B. Cozzens, C. Dwight Baker, Charles C. Moore, Kowland H. Mayland and David Suth¬ erland, jr.. the latter two having been elected attKe annual school meeting in May
The tneeting wi^s called to order by tbo senior member. Mr. Cozzens. and Mr Mayland nominated Mr. Cozzens for president, and Mr. Sutherland nom¬ inated Mr. Baker. Cozzens received three votes and Baker two. For vice president each other mhiDber was named, atl at first declining, and final¬ ly Mr. Mayland was unanimoualy chosen.
For clerk an application in writing, accompaniediiy a petition of residents, waa filed by Francis C^'VLone, wbo has had the position for a number of years. The President said he under¬ stood that a verbal application bad been made to, one of the members, whereupon Mr. Moore presented the name of Robert E. Donaghy, whom he said was a stenographer and typewrit¬ er, a bookkeeper and expert on statis¬ tics, snd bad been highly recommend- ed by those well acquainted with him.
