Geo. Dahlbender, night watchman at Lynbrook, arrested t!harles J. Hrady one night last week on a charge of stealing a horse, buggy and harness from George Wintjen of this village, his former employer. Dahlbender no¬ ticed the accused driving into Lyn¬ brook. Hrady offered to sell the rig to the officer, who arrested him after asking a few questions. He was com¬ mitted to the county jail at Mineola to await an examination, which was held before Justice Neu at Lynbrook Fii- day morning, when he was held to await action of the Grand Jury.
