Truatee Randall aaid the question ahoald be aettled now aa it woold probably make aome difference to tbe eatimatora in bidding. It would be unfair to the contractors to expect them to give satisfaction to an engi> neer nr contractor while working on a set of plans he is opposrd to from tbe start. Mr. Ranc'all said the Village would probably save more than the ^ $1000 or more that we will have to pay Mr. Broadnax anyhow, by adopt¬ ing this resolution. The resolution was not put to a vute, there being con¬ siderable discussion on the matter.

On Thursday afternoon of last week, Thoraday evening the ofiicera for the Truatee Randall aaid the question ahoald be aettled now aa it woold probably make aome difference to tbe eatimatora in bidding. It waa decided to instruct Street Commiaaioner Sprague to put a croaa¬ walk from the L. I. R.
