The Nassau Post, in its last issue,'. has a nasty item about the Village .. Board supplying our local guards, trbrandt with uniforms, evidently because the' ^ 'n»ur. same Village Board did nol let the Post publish village ordinances at reirular rates, of which they speak in the same Item.
I Thoy also make some unwarranted remarks about Albin N. Johnson, coun- 1 sel to the Board. Big Anniversary Jewelry Sale
One of the best jewelry advertise¬ ments we have seen in design and typ¬ ographical display emanates from the jewelry store of A. E. Miller, South Main Street, and is published in the Nassau Couaty Review this week. Mr. Miller has built up a solid busineae and carries a splendid line of goods. His store is so small that he is unable t'^ display his wares as he would -ike, and invites the readers of our paper to look over his talk in this issue and then drop in and aee his big line.
To celebrate hi« sixth anniversary as a merchant of Freeport he is an¬ nouncing a special ealc on June 4 to 9 with special discounts. The adver¬ tising is interesting enough to look up specially.
Mrs. MiUer Gets Divorce
Lulu Miller of Rockville Centre, formerly of Freeport, waa awarded a decree of divorce and $8 a week ali¬ mony by Justice Townsend Scudder, in the Supreme Court FViday. The action against her husband, Richard Miller, was undefended Mr«. Milller was awarded the custody of the four children.
