Yachtsman Badly Hurt
John White, an ex-commodore of the Hempstead Bay Yacht Club, is con¬ fined to his home in Hempstead with a fractured nose, a painful laceration of the upper portion of his mouth, and two front teeth missing, the result of an accident which befell him while on his auxiliary cruiser Question, in Ran¬ dall's B^y, Monday.
The ex-commodore was putting the board siding up to the opening through which he started the engine, and was endeavoring to shove in the pin of the flywheel, which had lost its spring. The pin caught un?ler the siding and it was jammed up under his chin, then slipped to his mouth and nose.
