Young Ar¬ guimbau has been attached to a di¬ vision of Hospital Corps in France along the battle front, being popular¬ ly known as the Blue Devils.
His father received a letter from him last week stating that he had been a patient in a hospital for three weeks recovering from results of in¬ haling the poison gas sent over from the (ierman lines, and while he was in the hospital the General of the division in which Arguimbau is en¬ listed came to the hospital and pre¬ sented him with the Legion Cross.
In another letter which Hartland Woodhouse sent his father, ho stated that Arguimbau has been overcome by the poison gas while rescuing sol¬ diers in the line of battle, and that an honor cross had been presented him for his distinguished bravery un¬ der tire.
