It waa neces¬ sary for him to dive three times before getting Mias Jackson, and when he pulled her out she was unconscious. Wheeler rushed her in an automobile to the office of Dr. William Runcie, where she was revived. Miss Jackson is a summer resident in tbe Bayview section at Freeport. Go To The Ball Game
This Saturday afternoon Preeport will play Baldwin on tbe local ground. The last game was won by Freeport, but only 6 innings were played because of a heavy storm coming up. The game so far as it was played was one of the most interesting of the season, and both sides will certainly do their beat tbis week to win the game. Bald¬ win has one of the best teams on tbe Island, and Freejiort has a team to be prood of, so that a fight msy be ex pected from start to finish.

Freeport evened up with Bellwood Saturday, easily defeating them by the I
players, and Arthur Smith, one of the Freeport umpires, was loaned to them to fill in, but that was not any of the reason for their defeat as he played as good a game as any man on their team. They simply were not strong enough for the Freeport boys who merely played with them. The score:
