Welcome to the Eagle Walk of Recognition
Every year thousands of
Bethpage alumni, students and
friends enter the Bethpage High
School Complex for graduations
and community activities such
as Relay for Life. The present
entrance that many residents are
accustomed to does not resemble
the spectacular artists rendering
above...but it can...and it will
thanks to the Bethpage School
District's Buy-a-Brick
Fundraiser.
This ingenious project allows
alumni, residents, businesses and
just about anyone who loves
Bethpage to purchase an
engraved brick with a special
message.
Perhaps you may want to
honor the memory of a loved
one, celebrate a milestone or
special event or commemorate
your family and each of your
children with one of these special
brick pavers. Companies
and organizations can also get
involved and be a part of this
wonderful walkway by displaying
their company name or message.
This beautiful entrance
will include all the engraved
pavers as well as two impressive
columns displaying Bethpage
"Eagle" pride.
A 4x8 brick is $100 and a
larger 8x8 brick is $200 complete
with your message
engraved on it.
Please look for the Buy-a-
Brick order form inside the
Tribune and send your order in
today. Be a part of Bethpage history!
Take advantage of this
wonderful opportunity to leave
your permanent mark on
Bethpage.

First Class Gives Back to Bethpage Education Foundation
The Bethpage Education Foundation, Inc. received its first donation
at the September Board of Education meeting as two members of
the first graduating class from Bethpage High School were on hand
to make the presentation.
Dr. Robert Moraghan and Ann Joachim, two members of the
Class of 1956, presented the Bethpage Education Foundation's
President Rich Festante with a check for $1,200 on behalf of the
Class of 1956 alumni. This marks the first donation accepted by the
foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing funds for
special projects and innovative programs.
The Bethpage Education Foundation is governed by a Board of
Trustees that is separate and apart from the Bethpage Board of
Education. Formed last year, the foundation is mostly comprised of
Bethpage citizens and graduates who want to give back to their community.
The foundation hopes one day to provide scholarships to
Bethpage graduates.
For more information about the Bethpage Education Foundation,
Inc. or to inquire about making a donation, please call 516.644.4001.
