2007 National Champions Commended
BHS Kickline, Varsity & Junior Varsity Cheerleading Bring Home National Titles
The 2007 National Kickline Champions, Bethpage High School's

Bethpage High School Varsity Cheerleading Squad, and Coach Jessica

Bethpage High School's Kickline, Varsity Cheerleading and Junior
Varsity Cheerleading have each earned the title of National Champions. To
recognize this accomplishment, Nassau County Legislator Edward P.
Mangano presented each team member with a Proclamation. The Legislator
visited the high school to congratulate the three teams and their coaches.
"Simply said this is the best there is," commented Legislator Mangano. "It's
a tremendous accomplishment."
The Bethpage Cheerleading Squads were named National Champions
after beating out the competition at the CheerTech National Championships
in Wildwood New Jersey earlier this month. Bethpage's Kickline team held
onto their National title after their impressive performance at the "Contest
of Champions" held in Orlando, Fla.
Congratulations to all three teams and their coaches for their hard work
and award winning performances.
