Still Time to Be a Part of
Eagle Walk of Recognition
Oz has a 'Yellow Brick Road', Hollywood has 'Rodeo
Drive' and Bethpage will soon have the 'Eagle Walk of
Recognition.' This wonderful project spearheaded by the
Bethpage School District is a way for residents to have their
names and sentiments be a part of Bethpage history forever. The
Eagle Walk of Recognition is a project which is comprised of
gorgeous inscribed brick pavers, which will be installed all along
the walkway and entrance to the Howie Vogts Football Field.
This beautiful improvement will be a wonderful addition to the
Bethpage School District as well as to the entire community as
the school district has invited all residents to be a part of it. As
you can see in the photo above this renovation will be a much
needed improvement to the entrance of the football field.
Residents, former alumni, civic organizations and clubs and
just about anyone who loves Bethpage can purchase an inscribed
brick paver which will be incorporated into the walkway. Over
450 brick pavers have already been sold however, the deadline to
purchase bricks is quickly approaching.
What a wonderful way to memorialize a deceased loved one,
salute the accomplishments of your children, display your business
and or civic group or club and be a part of Bethpage history.
Small pavers are being sold for $100 and larger pavers are being
sold for $200.
Plans are already in motion for this fabulous project to begin
and time is running out to be included in phase one. Please see
the "Eagle Walk of Recognition' ad inside this edition of the
Bethpage Tribune. Fill out the information and be a part of
Bethpage history.
Leave your mark on the community you love. Be a part of
this wonderful project!
