Members of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 82 have been providing
the colors for thsi game since its inception 19 years ago. Gary
Bretton presented them with a plaque for their dedication to the game
and the entire community.
On December 10 the Bretton Bombers and the Bethpage teachers took to
the Bethpage High School football field to participate in the 19th Annual
Bretton's Benefit Game. This Bethpage tradition raises funds for the needy in
our community and this year was no exception. Although the Bethpage teachers
"schooled" the Bombers with a score of 15-0 the real winners are the
entire community of Bethpage for contributing over $25,000 this year.
Donations made payable to the Bethpage Community foundation can still be
mailed in to PO Box 160, Bethpage, NY 11714. It's never loo late to give!

Starting Tuesday January 2. 2007, Bethpage Post Office located at 339 Hicksville
Rd., Bethpage, NY 1 1714 will offer window service hours from 9:00 a.m to 5:00 r m.

Customers can save a trip to the Post Office by using usps.com. They can purchase
stamps and shipping labels, notify their letter carrier that they have a package pick-up,
find a Zip Code, locate a Post Office, change their address, arrange to have their mail
held, and request redeliver). They can also create and send cards, letters, and flyers
while they learn how Direct Mail can help grow their business. It's all right there on
usps.com fhe Postal Service a.lso offers other convenient methods for acquiring Stamps.
Stamps are available by phone by calling l-800-STAMPS, Visa, Discover or
Mastercard can be used to order stamps that will be promptly delivered b\ your letter
carrier. Stamps by Mail order forms are available at all local post office lobbies or can
be obtained from your letter carrier.ln addition to purchasing stamps in postal retail
lobbies, stamps are available at participating grocery, drug and retail store checkouts,
through automated teller machines (ATMs), at participating banks and on line at
usps.com Also at usps.com you can access Click-N Ship which enables you to print
postage from your computer, ideal for small business.
