On Sunday, October 5 the Central Park Historical Society unveiled this gorgeous
historical marker which commemorates the birthplace of the lunar module
as well as the role that Bethpage and Grumman employees had in putting
men on the moon. The historical marker was sponsored by Steel Equities and
is a wonderful tribute to the community as well a way to insure the rich heritage
of Bethpage is never forgotten.
Members of the Central Park Historical Society, led by President Len Mulqueen
and his dedicated wife Laura were on hand to celebrate this wonderful occasion
,as too, were the Lostrito family of Steel Equities and Dianne Baumert-Moyik
from the Northrop Grumman Corporation.
Their patriotism, loyalty and dedication is something
we all should never forget.
Their sacrifice, commitment and service is inspirational.
They are our VETERAN'S...
and they are the true HEART AND SOUL of our Country.
WE HONOR THEM ON VETERAN'S DAY
and REMEMRER THEM EVERYDAY!
