[omecoming 2006 was a wonderful day of school and community
spirit, which started with a fantastic parade through town. Freshmen,
Juniors, Sophomores and Seniors all created dazzling floats and marched
along with the BHS Band and other school groups. The parade ended at
Bethpage High School where the official homecoming game pitting our
Golden Eagles against Island Trees. Bethpage was victorious with a final
score of 31-8. The Bethpage Cheerleaders as well as Golden Girls provided
a fantastic halftime show, as too, did the BUS marching band, which
proved to be a spirited and energetic way to start the 2006-07 Bethpage
Golden Eagle's football season. Congratulations to all those who made
homecoming possible and best of luck to the EAGLES!
