It is time once again for the
much aniticpated event of the
summer.. the Bethpage Chamber
of Commerce SUMMER
FESTIVAL 2001 on August 10
and 11! That's right, this weekend
it is time to gather up the kiddies,
family and friends and come down
to the center of town for a good oV
fashioned summer festival. This
year's celebration opens each day
at 6pm and closes at midnight with
a PAY ONE PRICE EACH
NIGHT OF ONLY $16.
The Bethpage Chamber of
Commerce is elated to announce
that once again this festival is
being underwritten by some very
generous and community minded
corporations. This year's sponsors
are CABLEVISION,
BETHPAGE FEDERAL
CREDIT UNION, BANK OF
NEW YORK, NORTH FORK
BANK, NEW ISLAND
HOSPITAL, NORTHROP
GRUMMAN CORPORATION,
BRIARCLIFFE COLLEGE
AND KING KULLEN
SUPERMARKETS! These
generous corporations truly make
this festival possible each year and
their support is appreciated more
than they will ever know.
This year's entertainment line
up is quite spectacular. On
FRIDAY evening we start off with
an unbelievable display by Ortiz
Kick-Boxing Academy at 7pm.
Then at 8pm fair-goers will be
treated to the unbelievable
melodies of the SOUTH SHORE
BRASS, a 10 -piece brass
ensemble. They will certainly be a
delight to everyone's ears. At
10pm the music changes up a bit
with Cynic's Society, a band that
is making a repeat performance
due to their spectacular
performance at last year's festival.
