Hurricanes Storm By Competition
To Capture Waldbaum's Cup
The Bethpage Hurricanes Girls U-13 Travel Soccer Team ended the spring season as dual champions. On June 16th they were crowned
Waldbaum Cup Champions at Mitchel Field. Then on June 24th the Hurricanes successfully concluded their regular season (7 Wins, 1 Loss, 1
Tie) by winning their division. Congratulations on a job well done ladies!

names in Major League Lacrosse
A.J. plays Midfield for the Long
Island Lizards of Major League
Lacrosse. A.j is unquestionably the
best 'on-the-run' shooter and has a
tremendous split dodge "He's an
excellent player and a great guy all-around''
said Lizards' coach John
Detommaso Last Saturday, A J lit
up the net with 3 guals against the
New Jersey Pride, playing a major
part in the Liards win 15-14 He was
selected as the Bud-Light Player of
the Game
A J is no stranger to lacrosse
accolades At Bethpage High School
he received the Long Island High
School Player of the Year award, fie
was on the under 19 World Team,
and was a 2x High School All
American. He received All American
honors three out of his four years at
Johns Hopkins University
The Lizards high level of talent is
reflected in their 3-1 record They
now have the best record in the MLL
and are first place in their division
What's it like playing being on the
same team with such greats as the
