John E Kennedy PTA Awards Bethpage Student Receives Scholarship
Don Maiello Honorary Lifetime Award
King Kullen Grocery Co., Inc. (Bethpage) recently provided
scholarship funds to two Long Island high school seniors entering the
freshman class at the University of Notre Dame in the fall of 2000.

Donald Kennedy - King Kullen Co-President and COO - presented the
scholarship check to University of Notre Dame's Alumni School
Chairperson John Dombrowski (resident of East Rockaway) and the
two scholarship recipients, Ms. Kyle Zuaro (Bethpage/Bethpage H.S.)
and Mr. Colin Byrne (Huntington/Chaminade H.S.). Also attending was
John Meares, President of the Notre Dame Club of Long Island.

Install New Officers
The John F. Kennedy Middle School PTA has awarded Mr. Don
Maiello, assistant principal, the prestigious Honorary Lifetime Award
for his dedication to the students in Bethpage. Although he is viewed
as a disciplinarian, he is also warm and caring. As tough as he is, he
has earned the respect of his students. Congratulations! Pictured here

during an installation luncheon held at the Villa Victor in Syosset.
