Happy 100th Birth dayii Celebrating Lutheran
School's Month
Oyster Bay Town Supervisor John Venditto (center standing),
Town Clerk Martha S. Offerman and Receiver of Taxes James J.
Stefanich recently congratulated Lillian Finnegan on her 100th
birthday at the Plainedge Housing Complex. Lillian, whose birthday
was on March 22, married Howard Finnegan in 1917 and has 3 children,
16 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 7 great great
grandchildren.
Assemblyman Marc Herbst (R-Hicksville) was a guest at Good
Shephard Lutheran School in Plainview recently to present a formal
Assembly resolution commemorating March as "Lutheran Schools
Association Month." Pictured, from left, are Rev. Scott Paradise,
Assistant Pastor; Marilyn Benner, Director of the nursery; and
students Jonathan Norton, Christopher Crivelli, Christopher Lorch,
Danielle Vollono, and Miranda Benson.

New York state Assemblyman Marc Herbst (R,C-14th District),
standing, meets with Bethpage High School student Joshua Smith,
center, who performed in the New York State School Music
Associations All-State Instrumental and Vocal Jazz Ensemble held in
Albany in February. Joshua was selected from more than 5,000
students across the state who auditioned to perform.
