Win Trivia Challenge

An elite team of students from
Bethpage HS participated in the final
round of the Long Island Math Fair
on Friday April 11, 2003, at Hofstra
University. Claudia Markarian won a

Bethpage High School has once again won the Nassau
County Trivia Challenge, hosted by United Cerebral Palsy. This
marks the third time that a Bethpage team has won. Proceeds
raised through this challenge are donated for research and
treatment of Cerebral Palsy. This year, the Bethpage students
who participated raised $2700. They are pictured here with
their trophy: (l-r) Gary Lubrat, Adam Waxman, Scott Litroff, and
Richard Ryan, with their advisor, science teacher Michelle
Maio.

Plainedge Girls Make History
The Plainedge Blasters are the first GU12 team in Plainedge's history to win the final of the Waldbaum's Cup in the Major Division.The championship
