A New Optical in Bethpage
February marked the opening of
Bethpage Optical at 582 Stewart
Avenue in the King Kullen shopping
center. The store is a partnership of
Licensed Opticians Amy-Jo Willig
and Michael Zavulunov. Between
them they have 15 years experience
in the Optical business. Michael is
the managing partner and will be
staffing the store. He is
knowledgeable in all aspects of
dispensing eyeglasses. He is
especially known for his
workmanship, and is a craftsman
when it comes to special jobs such
as custom tinting, cutting rimless
lenses, and fitting progressives (no
line bifocals). He can repair most
broken glasses, and is happy to
assist you at no charge for repairs
and adjustments.
Eye exams are available at
Bethpage Optical by appointment
with Dr. Jeffrey Willig (who happens
to be Amy's husband). Dr. Willig is a
Board Certified Ophthalmologist
(EyeMD) with over 20 years of
experience. Dr. Willig graduated
from the University of Pennsylvania

Legislator Edward Mangano (2nd from left) presents a grand
opening celebratory citation to Bethpage Optical owners Helen
& Michael Zavulunov and Amy & Dr. Jeffery Willig as
Councilman Mary McCaffery joins in the day of celebration.
Bethpage Optical is located in King Kullen Shopping Center on
Stewart Ave. Legislator Mangano congratulated the owners for
the extensive building improvements.
