Shoeboxes Can Fill Dreams
For Many Needy Families
See How. . .
In an effort to reach out to children's
in desperate situations around
the world, the Sunday School and
congregation of St. Paul Lutheran
Church are filling shoe boxes with gift,
school and hygiene items which will
be distributed by "Operation Christmas
Child," a unique project of a
Christian relief and evangelism organization
called "Samaritan's Purse."
Last year over 1.6 million boxes were
delivered through this effort!
The children in St. Paul's Sunday
I School filled 70 boxes last year, and
their goal this year is to fill 200 boxes!
Every shoe box filed has the potential
to touch a child's physical, emotional
and spiritual needs because
"Operation Christmas Child" is not just
about reaching children with shoe
boxes, it's about sharing the Good
News of Jesus Christ with them
through Christian literature distributed
with the shoe boxes.
If you would like to help by filling a
shoe box, call St. Paul Church at 931-
8262, or call "Operation Christmas
Child" directly at 1(800) 353-5949.
Boxes will be collected between Nov.
14Th and 23rd.
