Voice of Democracy Competition Post-Inaugural Reception In Bethpage
On behalf of Butehorn Bros. Post 4987J Veterans of Foreign Wars
of the United States, Voice of Democracy Chairman Bert Carlson is
pleased to present the names of the wiriners in each of the three
categories of the VFW "Voice of Democracy" competitions. They are:

Nassau County Executive Tom Gulotta is congratulated on his reelection
by Ernest Warnken, Junior Vice Commander of Butehorn
Bros. Post 4987, Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, at
the post-inaugural reception held at the Imperial Manor in Bethpage.
JVC Warnken "welcomed'' County Executive Gulotta to Bethpage on
behalf of Post. Commander Robert Totone and the members of
Bethpage's VFW Post 4987.
These winners, along with their families and friends, will be hosted
by the officers, members, and wives of Butehorn Bros. Post 4987,
VFW, in the auditorium of the Bethpage J High School on Cherry
Avenue on Monday evening, March 9. At jhat time they will receive
their awards from the Veterans of Foreign Wars as well as from
dignitaries representing the Town of Oyster pay and Nassau County.
Robert Totone, Commander of VFW Post 4987, congratulated Voice
of Democracy Chairman Carlson on another job well done, pointing
out that the participation by each of the seyen schools involved was
excellent, with well over 400 students from the 5th to the 12th Grades
submitting entries in the various competition^. Ernest Warnken
