BETHPAGE
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
SUMMER FESTIVAL
IN FULL SWING
AVG.7&8
One weekend and counting till
the Bethpage Chamber of Commerce's
Summer Festival, This years
event will take place on Aug. 7th &
8th from 6pm -12 midnight and 4pm -
midnight respectively. As always the
festival is a two day extravaganza of
fun for the entire family.
AND BEST OF ALL this year the
Bethpage Chamber of Commerce
sponsors of the festival have made it
easier on the pocketbooks and wallets
of families as we will have PAY
ONE PRICE bracelets for each night.
That's right one price and ride the
fabulous rides all evening long. By instituting
the POP plan for both days
the Chamber hopes that more families
will be able to enjoy this five star
Bethpage event.
This year the Chamber is proud to
have FLEET BANK, BRIARCLIFFE
COLLEGE, BETHPAGE FEDERAL
CREDIT UNION and BANK OF NEW
YORK as our festival sponsors. These
four generous Bethpage Corporations
have been extremely generous
to the Chamber and have helped to
make this event so spectacular.
We are also proud to highlight the
sounds of "HIRED HANDS" on Friday
evening along with the talented "foot
works" of Country Line Dancing troop
CJ & CO. This combination of talent
are sure to have even the shyest of
festival goers toe tapping and dancing
to the music. AND on Saturday,
Aug. 8, we are thrilled to announce
that the explosive sounds of DJ's
MUSIC UNLIMITED will fill the night air
and keep the party going all night
long...that is...until our GRAND
FINALE FIREWORKS display provided
by BAY FIREWORKS who each
year explode the skies with gorgeous
fireworks.
The rain date for the festival is
August 9, but let's all cross our fingers
for mother nature's cooperation.
The festival will also feature a Petting
Zoo, NEW rides, vendor booths,
the Lotto bus, informational booths,
Kid Pix as well as food...food...food.
So mark your calendar for Aug. 7th &
8th, and look for the official Chamber
Festival '98 map in the next weeks
Tribune and we'll see you all at the
FAIR.
