BHS Girls Varsity
Lacrosse Team Celebrates
First Home Field Win
Top left Coach Meg Imhof and girls varsity players. Scoreboard in
background shows 17-9 victory over West Hempstead.
The BHS Girls Varsity Lacrosse
team recently celebrated their first win
on their own high school home field.
This is the first season the girls varsity
team is playing some of their home
games on the high school field. In the
past all home games were played on
the Pine Avenue field.
The game against West Hempstead
ended in a 17-9 victory for
Bethpage. There are two home field
games left at the high school - Thursday,
April 30th and Thursday, May
14th both starting at 4:30. Congratulations
on a job well done.

CHRISTOPHER REEVE POEM
BY: LAUREN K. SHEA
8th Grade LaSalle Regional School (Bethpage Campus)
He fell off his horse and that was the case.
Paralyzed, now life is harder to face.
He is down but tries to keep up, its too hard
to face.
He is very ill and still alive, everyone thinks
he's going to die.
But no, he is very brave, a man of courage
above all, makes us strong inside and has
encouraged us all in every possible way!
This poem was chosen for publication and selected
for its high merit by Creative Communications.
