There was no sign of a baseball
strike in Bethpage this past weekend.
A pre-season baseball clinic
was organized by Christian
Byrnes of Bethpage and about 35
eager-to-learn ballplayers, ages 9
to 12, took lessons from former
Yankee great, Roy White, at Bethpage
Community Park. The afternoon's
fun was topped off by Mr.
White autographing baseballs and
photographs. A good time was had
