that concerned m3, however, after the sale of Grumman, my main
concern is the fiscal stability of Bethpage. I .think it is vital that we

try to encourage
allow it to remain
we all could suffer]

Callan and James King (left to
right) of Bethpage worked hard
this summer selling refreshments
at their lemonade stand made by
their father, Douglas King. They
sold lemonade and iced tea in their
neighborhood and gave their $30
in profits to the Nassau County
American Red Cross. "We appreciate
this donation from Callan
and James because it came from
their hard work. This is a terrific
way to teach children about giving
to charities and helping people in
need," said Christine Wood,. Deputy
Director, Public Relations &
Development. "Mr. King and his
children set an example for us all."
The Red Cross praised the children
for their efforts and gave each
of them a certificate of appreciation.
The Red Cross provides
disaster relief to victims of fires,
storms and hurricanes in Nassau
County.
