LIBRARY UNDER CONSTRUCTION
BUT STILL LOOKIN' GOOD
To brighten the current construction
scene, the rerouted
temporary foyer at the Bethpage
Public Library has been decorated
by a profusion of artwork, generously
donated by the school children
of the community.
The art project was coordinated
by Mrs. Fanny Kletsidis of the
Bethpage Public Library and art
teachers in local schools. The
teachers encouraged their classes
in the creation of colorful paintings
that enhance the rough walls
and lighten, the winter atmos-
'phere. The library heartily thanks
the young people and the art
teachers who participated and
urges one and all to come on over
to view the show and then charge
out books, videos, audio tapes,
CD's and other appealing library
materials.
